Why Mobile Dog Training is the way to Go

Dog training is important; however, sometimes just getting your dog to a session is strenuous enough. In fact, many people never follow through with training because they do not want to deal with the hassle. If you’re one of them, perhaps it’s time you considered mobile dog training. Mobile dog training offers several advantages, and here are just a few of them.

#1. Convenience

By far, the biggest advantage to mobile dog training is convenience. Since I come to you, there’s no need to struggle with getting your canine to me. So no wrestling to get your dog in the car or rushing to get back to work after a session.

#2. Provides a Better Training Outcome

Training a dog in its usual surroundings offers numerous benefits. For example, I’m more likely to know what distractions your animal is faced with and can therefore tailor my methods accordingly. That’s not always possible when working in a controlled environment such as a training facility.

Some canines are more apprehensive about training than others. These dogs are more likely to respond when they are in a relaxed atmosphere. They never have to “get used to” a new environment, which greatly shortens the learning curve.

It’s also easier for owners to become involved in their pet’s training when it takes place at home. This is important, as the techniques learned during a session will not “stick” unless you practice them over and over.

#3. One-on-One Attention

With on-site training, you constantly have to worry about distractions. This is true, even if you book private sessions. For example, there may be other people stopping by, phone calls, or clients who show up early for their next session. Even if these are rather minor interruptions, they can nonetheless interfere with the learning process.

With mobile dog training, you’ll receive 100% of my attention. No one else will be stopping by, so it is just you, me and your animal for the entire period. It’s the best way to ensure you are getting the full time slot for which you have allotted.

#4. Less Risk of Pests and Disease

Your dog is more likely to develop fleas or ticks when around other canines. Likewise, there’s an increased risk of contracting kennel cough or canine flu as well. In-home training provides a safer alternative because you can control the amount of exposure.

#5. Flexible Appointments that Work with your Schedule
